Special Student Registration
Check the Academic Calendar for registration period.
The introductory courses do not accept registration of Special Students.
Registration in the other courses may be allowed upon analysis of the Curriculum Lattes (online Brazilian academic resumé) and the Transcripts. After approval, an interview can additionally be scheduled (for a mutually agreed date).
The English proficiency tests applied by PPGI will be carried through twice in the year before the beginning of the academic semester, following the annual academic calendar.
Applicants must register with the office up to two working days before the test. The office is located at room 313, 3rd floor, block B of CCE/UFSC.
Documents to be presented to PPGI Coordination:
- Application form (as formal registration request to the Board of PPGI);
- Higher Education Transcript(s);
- Photocopy(ies) of diploma(s);
- Curriculum Lattes updated;
- Photocopies of Identity Card and CPF (Brazil’s Taxpayer Registration Number);
- PPGI’s Foreign Language Proficiency Certificate (English); (Note: Former PPGI Master’s Students do not need to present certificate of proficiency.)
- One 3 x 4 Photo.
Notice: Foreign students can only request admission as Special Student if they have a permanent Brazilian visa, or if they are bound by an institutional agreement. Foreign documents (transcript and diploma) must be validated by the Brazilian Consulate from the country of origin.
