Convidamos a todos(as) para os Seminários Online em Psicolinguística/Online Seminars in Psycholinguistics, uma série de videoconferências sobre temas voltados para a aprendizagem e o processamento da linguagem. A videoconferência de encerramento desta temporada dos seminários abordará novos fundamentos e aplicações metodológicas no Sistema Scliar de Alfabetização. A videoconferência dá direito a certificado de participação como ouvinte e as informações sobre certificação serão fornecidas durante a transmissão. “Shakespeare in Ireland and Brazil: Translation and Performance” (October 28thth) explores aspects of translation and performance of Shakespeare’s plays, focusing particularly on the relations between Shakespeare and the modern Irish theatre, the challenges of translating Shakespeare’s plays into Brazilian Portuguese, and the production of Hamlet, directed by Marcio Meirelles, in Salvador, Bahia, in 2015.

“How the Story Travels: The Contemporary Irish Short Story” (October 14th) explores the state of the art of the short story in Ireland, as written for the printed media and radio, and the way the Irish short story has been changing, with the addition of voices such as those of Melatu Okorie and Oein DeBhairduin.
